become the person,
I am right now.
Was it, worth it?”
- Richard Bach (One)
This question I ask myself always, “was it worth it?” and till now answer is “Yes it was worth” I have many people to name who have made this possible for me. Without their contribution in my life it would not have been possible.
Here I want to share about one of great contributors in my life, i.e. Songadh Ashram. Every one, associated with this institution, from Gurujies to trustees, manager to peon has contributed in my life. They shaped my life in a way I am enjoying it.
As all of you, I have spent some golden years of my childhood in Songadh Ashram. I was in 6th standard (1996) when my dad came unwillingly for my admission in Ashram. Unwillingly, because he wasn’t ready for sending his tiny boy (that’s me) in hostel. It was my choice to join hostel and I made it possible forcefully. Today I and my father are proud of my choice.
Some one has rightly said “Every human being is product of an environment”. Environment is a major factor in building up one’s personality. Without healthy environment one can’t think of better personality. Songadh had provided me most healthy environment I could have expect. This has not only flourished my talent but has also nurtured good values in me. Today I am professionally working as a theatre artist camp organizer, seeds of which were also sowed in Ashram.
So here I just want to thanks my all seniors who have taken responsibility of Songadh Ashram and most importantly pray Chartitrabapa and Kalyanbapa to give blessing forever, as they have so far.
