Vision 2015 for Ashram

We took the opportunity of meeting past students, who visited Ashram on this occasion and tried to develop some kind of vision for Ashram. Many of them expressed their views on this subject. Broadly statements made by them are as follows:

  • We should extend our scope to college level (which stream is not defined).
  • We should at least extend studies in Ashram and in our School upto 12th Std. This will reduce drop out cases further.
  • We should have our own hostel in Mumbai for the benefit of our students, who are pursuing higher education in Mumbai.
  • By 2015, at least 50% of Managing committee should comprise of new members (mainly who are pursuing higher education now or are serving Ashram at different levels).
  • Our past students will be contributing to the Ashram equal to annual expenses of 50 students.
  • There should be at least 200 past students with professional qualifications (passed out) by 2015.
